BOOKING & PAYMENT

A wedding date is considered officially reserved only when the photography agreement has been accepted and the required booking retainer has been received.

A booking retainer of 40% of the total photography fee is required to secure the date.

The booking retainer reserves the agreed wedding date exclusively for the Client and covers the Photographer’s preparation and planning associated with the booking.

The remaining balance is due within 15 days after the wedding date.

The final wedding gallery will not be delivered until the Photographer has received payment in full.

All prices are stated including Swedish VAT unless otherwise specified.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

The booking retainer is non-refundable except where otherwise required by applicable law or where the Photographer cancels the assignment and no agreed alternative can be provided.

Any additional cancellation charges, including charges applying when cancellation occurs close to the wedding date, will be stated in the signed photography agreement.

Cancellation terms apply regardless of the personal reason for cancellation, subject to any mandatory rights available to the Client under applicable law.

A request to change the wedding date is subject to the Photographer’s availability and does not automatically transfer the original booking to a new date.

Any applicable rescheduling fee will be stated in the photography agreement.

If the Photographer is unavailable on the requested new date, the original cancellation terms apply.

WEDDING DAY TIMELINE & PUNCTUALITY

Photography coverage begins and ends at the times stated in the agreement.

The Client is responsible for ensuring that the couple and all persons required for scheduled photographs are ready at the agreed time.

Delays caused by the couple, wedding party, hair and makeup, transportation, venue, other suppliers or other circumstances outside the Photographer’s control do not extend the contracted photography time.

For example, if photography is booked to begin at 09:00 but the couple is not ready until 11:00, the two-hour delay remains part of the contracted coverage period.

The Photographer is not required to compensate for lost photography time by remaining beyond the agreed finishing time.

Additional coverage may only be provided subject to the Photographer’s availability and agreement and will be charged separately.

The Photographer is not responsible for photographs that cannot be created because of delays, changes to the schedule or insufficient time allocated for photography.

PREPARATION

The Client is responsible for allowing sufficient time in the wedding-day schedule for the photographs that are important to them.

Details intended to be photographed — including rings, invitations, jewellery, perfume, shoes, veil and other personal items — should be prepared and available before the scheduled photography begins.

Time spent searching for or preparing items during the contracted coverage period is considered part of the booked photography time.

HAIR & MAKEUP

Hair and makeup should be fully completed before the scheduled photography begins.

The Client is responsible for communicating the wedding-day timeline to the hair and makeup team and allowing sufficient preparation time.

Foundation should be professionally matched to the Client’s natural skin tone and blended evenly across the face, jawline, neck and, where appropriate, décolletage.

The Photographer is not responsible for differences in skin tone resulting from incorrectly matched or unevenly applied makeup.

Standard retouching does not include reconstructing makeup, substantially changing foundation colour throughout the gallery or correcting the work of a makeup artist or hairstylist.

SELF-TANNING PRODUCTS

The use of self-tanning lotions, sprays and similar artificial tanning products before the wedding is strongly discouraged.

Professional cameras and photographic lighting can reveal uneven pigmentation, streaks, patches and colour differences that may be considerably less noticeable to the naked eye.

These effects may be particularly visible on hands, wrists, elbows, neck, face and décolletage.

The Photographer does not guarantee correction of skin-tone irregularities resulting from artificial tanning products.

Extensive correction of artificial or uneven tanning is not included in standard retouching.

BODY SHIMMER, GLITTER & REFLECTIVE PRODUCTS

The Client should not use body lotions, oils, sprays, cosmetics or other products containing glitter, shimmer or reflective particles on areas that will be visible in photographs.

Products that appear softly luminous to the naked eye may be rendered by professional cameras and changing light as numerous bright white, silver or grey points across the skin.

This applies particularly to the face, neck, décolletage, shoulders, arms, hands and legs.

Removal of individual glitter, shimmer or reflective particles in post-production is not included in standard retouching.

CLOTHING, ACCESSORIES & STYLING DETAILS

The Client and wedding party are responsible for ensuring that clothing, accessories and styling details are correctly fitted and positioned before photography.

This includes, but is not limited to, bow ties, ties, boutonnieres, corsages, jewellery, veils, straps, buttons, necklaces, pocket squares and other accessories.

The Photographer may point out or adjust an obvious detail when noticed during portrait photography, but cannot be responsible for identifying every styling issue throughout the wedding day.

The Photographer does not reconstruct, reposition or alter clothing and accessories in Photoshop.

This includes digitally straightening or repositioning bow ties, ties, boutonnieres, corsages, jewellery, veils or similar details.

Alteration of the shape, fit or construction of clothing is not included in standard retouching.

FAMILY & GROUP PHOTOGRAPHS

The Client should provide a concise list of important family and group photographs before the wedding.

The Client is responsible for identifying particularly important family members and guests to the Photographer. The Photographer cannot reasonably be expected to know the identity or significance of every guest.

The Client should appoint a person familiar with both families to assist in gathering people for scheduled group photographs.

For large groups, the Photographer cannot guarantee that every individual will be looking directly at the camera, smiling or have their eyes open in every photograph.

If an individual photograph of every guest is required, this must be communicated in advance and sufficient dedicated time must be included in the wedding-day schedule.

CANDID PHOTOGRAPHY & GUESTS

The purpose of candid guest photography is to document the atmosphere, interactions and genuine moments of the celebration.

Candid coverage does not guarantee a photograph of every guest.

Guests may move, turn away, close their eyes, avoid the camera or be photographed in circumstances that do not produce a photograph suitable for final delivery.

The Photographer retains discretion over which candid photographs are included in the final gallery.

Lighting during mingling, dinner and reception coverage may vary significantly because the Photographer cannot control all available light, guest positioning or environmental conditions.

IMAGE SELECTION

The final selection of photographs is made exclusively by the Photographer.

The Photographer will curate the gallery according to professional judgement, technical quality, expression, storytelling and artistic consistency.

Images that are duplicates, test shots, technically unsuitable, unflattering, incomplete or otherwise not representative of the Photographer’s finished work will not be delivered.

A Client-provided shot list will be treated as a list of preferences and priorities rather than a guarantee.

Weddings are live events, and the Photographer cannot guarantee every requested photograph when timing, weather, guest cooperation, venue restrictions or unexpected events prevent it.

RAW FILES

RAW files and unedited photographs are never delivered to the Client.

Image selection and post-production are integral parts of the Photographer’s creative process and finished work.

EDITING & RETOUCHING

All photographs selected for the final gallery receive professional colour and tonal editing in the Photographer’s signature style.

Selected portraits may receive additional natural retouching where appropriate.

Standard portrait retouching may include minor temporary skin imperfections, selected distracting hairs and other small corrections at the Photographer’s discretion.

Standard retouching does not include:

significant body reshaping; changing body proportions; reconstructing hairstyles; changing clothing design or fit; changing the colour of clothing; repositioning accessories; extensive correction of makeup; correcting artificial tanning across the body; removing large quantities of glitter or shimmer; or extensive digital reconstruction of the environment.

More extensive retouching requested by the Client may be considered separately and, where possible, quoted as an additional service.

Detailed portrait retouching is not automatically applied to every guest, reception photograph, ceremony photograph or large group photograph.

ALTERATION OF DELIVERED IMAGES

The delivered photographs represent the Photographer’s finished artistic work.

Images may not be substantially re-edited, altered or presented with third-party filters in a manner that misrepresents the Photographer’s work.

Commercial use by venues, suppliers, companies, publications or other third parties requires separate permission from the Photographer.

DELIVERY

During the main wedding season, the estimated delivery time for the complete wedding gallery is approximately 12–14 weeks, unless otherwise stated in the agreement.

A small preview may be delivered earlier at the Photographer’s discretion.

Delivery times are estimates unless a specific guaranteed delivery date is expressly stated in the signed agreement.

WEATHER & NATURAL LIGHT

The Photographer cannot control or be held responsible for weather, cloud cover, sunlight, wind or other environmental conditions.

Specific lighting effects — including sunset photographs, golden-hour light and backlit portraits — depend on season, weather, location and the wedding-day schedule and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

The Photographer will work with the conditions available on the day and use professional judgement to achieve the strongest possible result.

CEREMONY & VENUE RESTRICTIONS

The Photographer must comply with restrictions imposed by churches, officiants, venues and other locations.

The officiant or venue may determine where the Photographer is permitted to stand, whether movement is permitted during the ceremony and whether flash or other equipment may be used.

The Photographer is not responsible for photographs or angles that cannot be obtained because of such restrictions.

PORTFOLIO & PUBLICATION

The Photographer may wish to use selected photographs for portfolio, website, social media, printed promotional materials, professional publications, exhibitions or photography competitions, subject to the agreed publication terms and applicable law.

Any privacy preference or restriction regarding publication should be agreed in writing.

MEAL

For wedding coverage extending through the wedding dinner, the Client must provide a warm meal for the Photographer and, where applicable, the second photographer or videographer.

The meal should preferably be served at approximately the same time as the couple so that the photography team is available when speeches and other scheduled events resume.

PHOTOGRAPHER UNAVAILABILITY

If an unforeseen circumstance prevents the Photographer from personally performing the agreed service, the Photographer will follow the remedies and responsibilities stated in the signed agreement and applicable law.

Where the Photographer cancels the assignment and the service cannot be provided as agreed, any refund or other remedy will be handled in accordance with the agreement and applicable consumer law.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

The quality and variety of the final wedding gallery depend on sufficient time, preparation, available light, location, weather, access and cooperation from the couple and their guests.

The Photographer is responsible for providing professional photographic services within the circumstances reasonably available on the wedding day.

The Client is responsible for preparation, punctuality, accurate scheduling and communicating any photographs, people or details of particular importance before the wedding.
