August 27, in Vintage Portrait

The end of August wrapped everything in the soft, warm light of the departing summer. The leaves were still green, yet there was already a barely perceptible feeling of autumn in the air. By the lake, in the golden glow of the evening sun, a photoshoot unfolded—filled with tenderness, romance, and a touch of light melancholy. Instead of a bouquet, there was a book with a worn cover, as if it had traveled from another era. Its slightly timeworn pages echoed the model’s look: a vintage dress, delicate accessories, and graceful movements. It felt as if she had stepped out of an old novel, coming to life for a fleeting moment to share her story.

The lake reflected the last rays of sunlight, bathing the scene in golden radiance. A gentle breeze lazily ruffled the pages of the book, as if whispering forgotten words, while the soft shadows of tree branches played with the light, adding depth and mystery to the images.

The result was a series of soulful, poetic portraits, filled with warm nostalgia. They seem to embody August itself—a month standing on the threshold of two seasons, when summer has not yet left, but autumn is already felt in every ray of the setting sun.

I was inspired to create this photoshoot by my love for vintage aesthetics, the romance of late summer evenings, and the quiet beauty of transitional moments. There is something incredibly touching about the way August holds on to the warmth of summer while gently welcoming the first whispers of autumn. I wanted to capture that fleeting magic—soft, melancholic, and timelessly beautiful.
